On Tuesday 9th June 2017 we welcomed 11 team members from SEGRO including David Sleath the Chief Executive of the company to the Aspire Centre to meet 31 local Job seekers referred by the Job Centre Plus, the East Berkshire Executive Job Club, Brunel University, and other local employment support charities or initiatives. 
31 people attended on the day as well as representatives from the Department for Work and Pensions and the East Berkshire Executive Job Club, who fed back how beneficial it had been for them to meet the SEGRO team and get a better understanding of corporate expectations of recruitment and employment process. 
Attendees were all very interested in finding out about the diverse range of companies on the Slough Trading Estate and they took part in a series of group activities including cv writing and tips, Job searching online and offline, interview techniques, Being successful at work, setting up a linked in profile and understanding SEGRO which were all delivered by our SEGRO volunteers.
